  • One can’t help but appreciate the talented cast and technical expertise. This exceptionally well-done maiden voyage Playbox Production, is an auspicious start for this new company’s future successes.

  • This intimate, confrontational staging of the tale puts the conflicts, suspicion and doublethink front and center; intimidating video pieces rattle viewers and performers alike to attention. Trent Wolfred walks a tightrope of suspicion as the sinister (or is he?) O'Brien, while Veta Piscitella exudes heart in the midst of misery as Julia.

  • I found this play to be extremely impactful. The lead actor was phenomenal. I thought I was watching an actor from the National Theatre in London. His performance absolutely gave me chills, made my eyes well up with tears, and was riveting. I was blown away and highly impressed with his level of craft. Everything about this production was a breath of fresh air and extremely compelling.
