The Young Explorers Acting Lab is Playbox’s creative acting class for young performers ready to imagine boldly, collaborate deeply, and grow in confidence.
This 12-week program introduces students to the foundations of acting through theater games, improvisation, character-building, and storytelling. In a supportive ensemble environment, kids learn how to express themselves, take creative risks, and bring scenes to life with honesty and joy.
Young Explorers is designed to be fun, structured, and repeatable—each session follows a familiar rhythm while exploring new characters, stories, and adventures every cycle.
Students will explore:
Imagination and creative play
Improvisation and ensemble teamwork
Character and scene-building
Voice, movement, and stage presence
Confidence, focus, and expressive storytelling
The program ends with an informal sharing for families—a celebration of growth, creativity, and the work created together.
